Committee Function:It shall be the duty of the Committee on Resources, Recreation and Development to consider all matters relating to natural resources, water pollution and control; parks and recreational areas; recreational industries; matters concerning state controls on property development; and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
My husband and I have lived in Thornton Gore for 50 years. There was no better place to raise our large family of 8 kids! Our small, but excellent public school gave them a strong, loving foundation which enabled them to succeed as they went on to further their educations and become happy, healthy, productive adults. I too had a great public-school education and earned an undergraduate degree in Biology from Plymouth State University and went on to graduate school in Marine Studies at UNH. I received a Masters in Education from PSU and taught Biology therefor many years.
Local Government Involvement
Member of School Board in Thornton for two years.
Served as a ballot clerk for over 30 years.
