It shall be the duty of the Committee on Ways and Means to examine and consider the state of the treasury; to consider and report on all bills and resolutions relating to raising money by a state tax and the apportionment of same; matters relating to taxes and fees on tobacco; all dedicated funds except for the highway and turnpike funds; state fees, and all methods of raising revenue for the state; and such other matters as may be referred to it. The Committee on Ways and Means shall report to the House in the form of a resolution its estimates of state revenues on a periodic basis.

Personal Biography
Dennis Malloy is now serving his fourth term in the NH House of Representatives. In 2012 he was elected to the House from Barrington. In 2015 he and Laura moved to Greenland to be closer to their business, Malloy Interiors, located in Portsmouth. He has represented the towns of Greenland and Newington for the last two terms and served as clerk of the Ways and Means Committee.
Dennis and his wife grew up in Iowa where they both graduated from college and began their professional careers. Dennis holds degrees from Coe College in Cedar Rapids and Iowa State University in Ames.
In Iowa, Dennis was Director of Community Relations and Development at Iowa Public Television.
In New Hampshire Dennis served as the Chief Development Officer for NH Public Television and is an arbitrator with the Financial Industries Regulatory Authority (FINRA) that provides oversight and regulatory leadership to the securities industry.
