STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to the use of unpasteurized eggs.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Use of Unpasteurized Eggs.  Amend RSA 143-A by inserting after section 9-b the following new section:

143-A:9-c  Use of Unpasteurized Eggs.  A food service establishment or retail food store may use unpasteurized eggs in its food products if such products containing the eggs are prepared in such a way that the eggs are pasteurized during the production process.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
