It shall be the duty of the Committee on Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services to consider all matters relating to labor, wages, and workers' compensation including unemployment compensation and incentive programs, collective bargaining and binding arbitration; matters relating to job retraining and employee rehabilitative services and other matters relating to balancing the rights of employees to the needs of the industrial sector; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Works as Arbitrator, Umpire, Mediator, and Consultant in the Financial Services, Insurance, and Reinsurance industries. President, Chesham Consulting, LLC. Formerly President of First State Insurance Co., New England Reinsurance Corp. and Horizon Management Group, LLC; Board Chair of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Run-Off Companies; and Partner in the Mound, Cotton & Wollan law firm. Alternate Board member of the Community Power Coalition of New Hampshire.

Married to writer Marylou DiPietro, with two adult children. We live in the historic district of beautiful Harrisville, NH.

BA (Economics) from Earlham College, JD from Fordham Law School, Executive Certificate from the Wharton School at the Univ. of Pennsylvania (Insurance). Trained and Certified as Mediator in NH and as Arbitrator/Umpire by AAA, ICDR, and ARIAS/US.

Currently or formerly a member of the Harrisville Select Board, Zoning Board, and Planning Board; also, volunteer Fire Department (member and Treasurer), Chair of Broadband/Telecommunications Committee, Board Chair of Friends of Harrisville Fire Service, Harrisville Emergency Management Director, and member of the Select Board’s Electric Aggregation Committee and Transportation Committee.
