It shall be the duty of the Committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to the development and repair of public highways; the Highway Fund; the Turnpike Fund; buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; capital expenditures related to the improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
Originally from Medford, Massachusetts, Bill is a 1991 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Political Science. Married to his wife, Michele, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, for 15 years, they have a teenage daughter, Jade, who is a junior at Merrimack High School. Currently, Bill has been employed as a real estate title examiner for over 20 years.

Bill and his wife, Michele, own the Midnight Run Racing Kennel; home to 25 German Short-Haired Pointer Hybrid Sprint sled dogs. Bill’s personal interests include running, all dog-powered sports (canicross / bikejoring / skijoring / mushing), politics and government, reading, chess, music, Boston sports (including his alma mater, Boston College) and family.
