Personal Biography
I was born in Bangladesh on March 1, 1960. I attended Muslim Government High School in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I finished my college degree in Bangladesh in 1981. I immigrated to the United States and in 1988 became a naturalized citizen of the United States. I lived in Bronx, New York for 20 years. In the year 2001 we moved to Seabrook, NH and bought a business, a gas station/convenience store (Richdale), and I ran the business until 2018. Once I sold the business, I became involved in Real Estate development and management. My wife Morzia Khan and I have been married for 36 years. Together we have two children, Nusrath Khan and Atik Khan. They both graduated from college and are in the work force.
Local Government Involvement
I served as a Planning Board member in Seabrook, NH in 2006 and then in 2008, I ran to be a member of the Seabrook Board of Selectman. I am in my 5th term as a member of the Seabrook Board of Selectman. This year (2020), I am an incoming member of the NH House of Representatives. This will be my 5th term. I am a conservative member of the house.
