Committee Function:
It shall be the duty of the Committee on Ways and Means to examine and consider the state of the treasury; to consider and report on all bills and resolutions relating to raising money by a state tax and the apportionment of same; matters relating to taxes and fees on tobacco; all dedicated funds except for the highway and turnpike funds; state fees, and all methods of raising revenue for the state; and such other matters as may be referred to it. The Committee on Ways and Means shall report to the House in the form of a resolution its estimates of state revenues on a periodic basis.

Personal Biography
Grew up on Long Island, New York. Received a BS and MS degree from the University of Buffalo (UB) in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research. While at the University was inducted into Tau Beta Pi the National Engineering Honor Society. While at Buffalo he was the cofounder of the UB Lacrosse Club which is still inexistence today. Had a 43 year career at Applied Management Systems a Healthcare Operations Consulting Firm where I was an owner/partner (now retired). During this period he consulted at over 400 hospital clients in 37 states and DC. During his career he authored numerous papers and a book entitled," Bringing Computers to the Hospital Bedside". He is a fellow and Life Member, Health Information and Management Systems Society. Currently Chair of the UB Industrial Engineering Advisory Board and a member of the UB School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean's Advisory Council. Also a member of the 4000-Footer Club for climbing the NH "48" & NE "67".
Local Government Involvement
On the Board of Great Bay Little League. Also Chaired the Stratham Girls Basketball Youth League. Also coached baseball, softball, girls and boys soccer, and girls basketball. A life member of the Stratham Historical Society. Active with the Stratham Boy Scouts where son became an Eagle Scout.
