Representative Packard currently serves as Speaker and is serving his 16th term in the New Hampshire House, representing Rockingham District 5. He has served in the capacity of Assistant Republican Leader, Senior Assistant Republican Leader, Minority Leader/Republican Leader, Speaker Pro Tempore and Deputy Republican Leader. He is a resident of Londonderry and started a small business in 1978 where he worked for over 30 successful years. He and his wife, Joanne were married for 52 years and have one daughter and three grandchildren.
Miscellaneous Information:
Representative Packard was instrumental in bringing motorcycle education and training to New Hampshire. As a member of the New Hampshire Motorcycle Rights Organization, he was a champion in Washington, D.C. for motorcyclists’ rights and advocated for standard motorcycle training and education for all riders of all abilities. His priorities are safer highways and roads, less government intrusion, fiscal responsibility, reduced spending, and ways to improve the lives of every citizen in New Hampshire. Representative Packard, along with his wife, established the annual Motorcycle Toy Run, was a member of the Town Republican Committee in Londonderry, served on the Rockingham County Republican Delegation.
