STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Department of Health and Human Services; Report; Availability of Mifepristone and Misoprostol.
I. The commissioner of the department health and human services or designee shall submit a report to the senate president, the speaker of the house of representatives, the house clerk, and the senate clerk by November 1, 2024:
(a) Identifying potential actions to protect and expand access to mifepristone and misoprostol;
(b) Identifying ways to increase outreach and education about access to mifepristone and misoprostol; and
(c) Identifying barriers to protecting or expanding access to mifepristone and misoprostol.
II. Nothing in this section shall diminish any existing authority of the department, or require the department to conduct any activity in violation of state or federal law.
III. No general funds shall be appropriated for the purposes of completing this report. The department shall seek and apply for any appropriate grants and federal funds available to complete this report.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
