HB 1192- FISCAL NOTE

AS AMENDED BY THE HOUSE (AMENDMENT #2022-0913h)

AN ACT relative to the board of acupuncture licensing and relative to the qualifications for licensure as an acupuncturist.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant has determined this bill has a total fiscal impact of less than $10,000 in each of the fiscal years 2023 through 2025.  This bill removes the acupuncture application fee of $110 from the statute.  However, the Office of Professional Licensure and Certifications' (OPLC) will establish a new fee through the rule-making process.  The director of OPLC will determine the new amount of the application fee and anticipates the new fee will be $155.  The new fee amount will likely result in an indeterminable increase in revenues, which will be attributed to the rules.
