STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

 

AN ACT relative to the right of 17-year olds to register to vote.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

185:1  Voter Registration.  Amend RSA 654:7, I(a) to read as follows:

(a)  At least 18 years of age on the day of the next election; and

185:2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
