Years Served in the Senate: Serving her second term in the NH Senate

Senator Whitley is a member of the NH Bar Association. Senator Whitley was named the 2019 Citizen of the Year by the New Hampshire chapter of the National Association of Social Workers and was named the 2021 Legislator of the Year Award by the New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities. She has also been recognized by the Parent Information Center and New Hampshire Family Voices for her family engagement work. Senator Whitley serves on the Board of Advisors for the Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership and Public Service; the Fellows Advisory Board for the Progressive Turnout Project; The Council for Thriving Children; The Oversight Commission on Children's Services; and NH Council for Youths with Chronic Conditions. She's a member of the Bipartisan Housing Caucus and a founding member of the newly formed New Hampshire Moms Caucus.
