PURPOSE
New Hampshire Statehouse New Hampshire Statehouse - Concord NH

The Research Division of the Office of Legislative Services (OLS) has a long history of providing professional nonpartisan research services to all 400 members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and 24 members of the Senate.  The primary responsibility of the division is to assist lawmakers in meeting the challenges and demands of their elective office by providing objective, accurate and timely information to assist in the development of sound public policy.

OFFICE HOURS
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.   The office remains open whenever the House is in session past 5:00 p.m. and at the request of the Senate under similar circumstances.

CONTACT THE STAFF
The OLS research staff is available throughout the year to assist House and Senate members.  Legislators can request research by visiting the staff in Room 112 of the State House or by telephone, email, or written correspondence.  Requests should be as detailed as possible and include the time by which the information is needed.  The staff works hard to meet all deadlines, including unexpected last minute requests.

The OLS research staff does not provide services to members of the public. The Reference and Information Services Division of the NH State Library is available to address citizen inquiries.
