STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT relative to historic horse racing game operator employer licensing.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Pari-Mutuel Pools on Historic Horse Races; Licensed Facilities; Eligible in 2024. RSA 284:22-b, II is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
II. A game operator employee licensed under RSA 287-D licensed after July 1, 2024 may sell pari-mutuel pools on historic horse races provided the licensee was approved by the lottery commission prior to October 18, 2023 as being eligible for a game operator employer license, and provided such sales are within the enclosure of the facility at which the licensee holds its licensed activities under RSA 287-D. A licensee seeking to offer wagers on historic horse races shall apply for a license pursuant to RSA 284. An application that is approved by the lottery commission, and a license that is granted shall not be permitted to be transferred or sold. A game operator employer holding a license prior to October 18, 2023 shall be eligible for licensure to sell pari-mutuel pools on historic horse races in the municipality where the licensee held said license.
2 Repeal. The following are repealed:
I. RSA 2021, 66:10, relative to licensed historic horse racing facilities.
II. RSA 2021, 66:11, I, relative to effective dates.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
