It shall be the duty of the Committee on State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs to consider all matters pertaining to the National Guard and other military or veterans’ organizations within the state, potential actions by the U.S. Congress which will have a major impact on the state and the New England region, and all proposed resolutions petitioning the Congress on any matter; to maintain communication with the congressional delegation; to serve as a liaison between the New Hampshire House and the United States Congress; emergency management; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
David is a United States Army Combat Veteran, his military career began in 1988 when he enlisted in the United States Air Force. After a few years in the private sector, David reenlisted in the military in 2008, specifically the United States Army. A little less than two years later he deployed to Afghanistan with the 2nd Battalion, 327thInfantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. His unit was the focus of the documentaries, "The Hornet's Nest" and "No Greater Love".

His commitment to family, loyalty, duty, respect, self-less service, honor, integrity, and personal courage continue to drive him through life's challenges. His unit's motto "No Slack - No Breather from Work, No Relief from Combat, No Request for Respite" goes much deeper than just a saying, it is a way of life.

His 12 years of military service, include service during Desert Storm and a tour in Afghanistan, He worked 20 years in the corporate world, owning a successful heating and air conditioning company, paintball business, and as a VP of Field Marketing and Development for an Energy Brokerage Firm, he also volunteered his time and services to other veterans and civilians by cutting firewood, delivering groceries, and doing small maintenance jobs, as well as serving as a board member with several organizations, coaching various youth sports and varsity sports team along with serving his fellow Granite Staters in the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
