It shall be the duty of the Committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to the development and repair of public highways; the Highway Fund; the Turnpike Fund; buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; capital expenditures related to the improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
Originally from Medford, Massachusetts, Bill is a 1991 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Political Science. Married to his wife, Michele, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, for 18 years, they have a teenage daughter, Jade, who is a junior at Southern New Hampshire University studying child development. Professionally, Bill has been employed as a real estate title examiner for over 20 years.

Bill and his wife, Michele, own the Midnight Run Racing Kennel; home to 26 German Short-Haired Pointer Hybrid Sprint sled dogs. Bill’s personal interests include running, all dog-powered sports (canicross /bikejoring / skijoring / mushing), politics and government, reading, chess, music, Boston sports (including his alma mater, Boston College) and family.

Bill was also nominated by NH House Speaker, Sherman Packard, and selected to participate in the 2022 Emerging Legislative Leaders Program; sponsored by the State Legislative Leaders Foundation and taught at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He was one of only fifty state legislators chosen from a nationwide pool of nearly 200 outstanding nominees.
