House Committee Information
Committee Function:It is the duty of the committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to public highways, buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; matters pertaining to the protection, improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
I'm originally from Rochester, NY and had the opportunity to live in Germany, Flordia, Georgia and Virgina, before we moved to Nashua in 1981. Two years of college; married to Rep. Ray Newman and we have three grown children, and six terrific grandkids! I loved being involved as a parent in our children's schools and community and also worked as a Realtor in the greater Nashua area for 25 years.
