It is the duty of the committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to public highways, buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; matters pertaining to the protection, improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
Grew up in Keene, attended Keene public schools, Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard College. Masters degree in city planning (Harvard), law degree (Suffolk). Thirty-one years transportation planning experience, land-use law practice since 2005.

Married to former Carol Orgaz of Keene for 47 years. Two children, five grandchildren.

Local Government Involvement
Elected town meeting member (Arlington, MA) for 22 years; planning board member, 20 years; Monadnock Regional School Board, 4 years.
Miscellaneous Information:
Sixth generation to serve in NH House. U.S Army Reserve 1971-1977.
