A message from Richard Lafleur, MD, Medical Director,

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in New Hampshire

Subject:  State of New Hampshire Flu Clinics Being Postponed Until Further Notice

As you know, New Hampshire, along with the rest of the country, is experiencing a significant immediate shortage of seasonal flu vaccine due to the production and distribution of the H1N1 vaccine.  Thus, the planned seasonal flu clinics at the State of NH agencies will need to be postponed until supply becomes available.  It is our hope that seasonal flu vaccine will become available again before the season arrives in January; however individuals should seek alternative sources to obtain this vaccine.  These sources include:

  • Your Individual Health Care Provider
  • Retail Pharmacies
  • Public Health Clinics
