The New Hampshire Humanities Council invites members of the Legislature to join them as they unveil their new Humanities to Go catalog and offer a sneak preview of new programs on Wednesday, September 24, noon to 3 p.m. at the Tuck Library, 30 Park Street, Concord. Join the Humanities Council for a light lunch from noon to 1 p.m. followed by a preview and celebration of the new catalog, hot off the press! See several of their new presenters offer a sample of their programs. Costumed living history presenters Sally Matson as Susan B. Anthony, Christopher Emerson as Horace Greeley, and Sebastian Lockwood at Julius Caesar along with other scholars will be on hand to help unveil this new edition. The NH Humanities Council’s Humanities to Go program offers nearly 200 programs and 100 scholars available to NH organizations and open to the public free of charge. The Humanities Council thanks their co-hosts at the New Hampshire Historical Society for the use of their beautiful space for this event.
