The standard mileage rate for transportation expenses for 2008, set by the Internal Revenue Service, has been modified as a result of recent increases in the price of fuel. The revised standard mileage rate will be 58.5 cents per mile. The federal mileage reimbursement rate for members of the NH Senate increases from fifty and one half cents ($0.505) per mile to fifty-eight and one-half cents ($0.585) per mile for all miles incurred on or after July 1, 2008.
